“我的爸爸尽了他应尽的义务。他不是在管闲事，因为国家的事，香港的事，没有闲事。”

会后，CGTN记者朱丹对罗先生进行了专访。

The son of an elderly man who died after a protester hit him in the head with a brick， says he can‘t understand the ruthlessness that led to such an act。 He also said that he has never felt such sorrow， but has been unable to cry。

CGTN reporter Zhu Dan spoke exclusively to the man on Friday， who only gave his surname of Luo。 

He said his father， a 70-year-old who worked as a cleaner， was completely innocent。

在采访中，他几度哽咽。

“他只是一个七十岁手无寸铁的老人。谁能这么狠心下得了手？”

谈到无辜离世的父亲，他似有千言万语，又哽在喉中。

“我曾以为伤心流泪是一个人最难过的心情，但是当我们离开亲人的时候，有时候眼泪只能含在心里面。”

“前一天他还跟我联系，问我吃饭了没有，但我当时很忙，没有说几句就挂掉了……我还跟他讲，明天我再跟你说。”

却没想到，再无明天。

“It was in the afternoon。 I was happy to see my dad‘s voice message。 When I opened it， it was his colleague’s voice instead，” Luo said。 “He said your dad had an accident， and said his head was shattered。”

Luo rushed to the hospital but he never got a chance to talk to his father again。

“Seeing his body （in the hospital）， with tubes， lying in the bed， I started to realize I won‘t have a chance to be a good son to him，” he said。

他提到罗伯年轻时候写过的一句话，说“人要在绝望当中去看到希望”。

但当他带着绝望中的希望走进病房，却看到父亲全身插满了管子躺在床上。

“这时候我才意识到，我已经没有机会再尽孝。”
